You had lunch at Candelo and didn't tell me? I was there yesterday. If I'd known in time I'd have been there. You were told and as Julie says.....you just never listen......๐คฃ

Cabramurra tomorrow I hear... don't miss the bakery at Adaminaby. There isn't much at Cabramurra... are you just going there and back or go on and do the bug loop? (Khancoban/Alpine Way) A thought for tomorrow if you're bored. In Cooma...

Cabramurra has been put on hold for a couple of days. Yesterday we went to Candelo via unsealed back roads for lunch and back across Brown Mountain......some climb on a Ural. Today we went to Eucumbene and looped back through Jindabyne for lunch. Great weather, just gets a bit windy later in the day. A few more Urals have just arrived in Dalgety this afternoon. Super place to be touring and everyone having a great time

Saturdays tour took us to Adaminaby then Cooma via Dry Plains road with a little creek crossing to amuse the newbies. Along the way to Adaminaby Ric played good person and moved Wally the wombat off the road. He was having the long sleep in a rather dangerous position on a bend. That interupted the flow of our group of thirteen, causing some to stop and wait while others turned and came back to see what the hold up was. No sooner had we regrouped and headed off again when I as tail rider spotted Bobs two reverse lights hanging and swinging in the breeze, held only by the wiring. Time out to secure that created more havoc in the group but eventually we were away again only to be confronted by the strongest head winds I have ever encountered on a bike. Going DOWNHILL into Adaminaby on full throttle my bike would not accelerate and was actually slowing down. No pics from me for the day as the wind blew the film out of my box browny. Wonderful double shot coffee and blueberry danish at Ada then on to the KUMA Pie shop for lunch via a lovely Ural track called Dry Plain road. Great pie, then back to Dalgety on the back road through Maffra. Lit the fire, coffee then wine. Lovely day. Thanks Wheels for the plan and execution.

Had an absolutely fabulous couple of days meeting all of you, Margaret and I will certainly be making an effort to get along to as many future events as we can. Thanks all for making us welcome. I don't know how to post a video on this forum, but the one Margaret filmed this morning as you crossed the bridge is up on my instagram account. Just look for finnaus57 if you're interested.

Monday......Lost a couple not feeling well but had a great ride across Kosciuszko road from Jindabyne to Khancoban where we topped up with coffee and fuel before heading up to Cabramurra for lunch. Perfect weather and perfect roads. After lunch we returned to Dalgety via Kiandra and Adaminaby on the Snowy highway. We have the pub booked for a group dinner tonight......woo hooo !
