Yes I have a spare. Current bike is a 2021 GU 3x2. 👍😇 Very Nice. Sorry , confused myself and badly worded question. So change whole wheel is 30 minutes? Vs Change tube is 30 minutes? For me it would be 60 minutes to change tube. Just wondering if it’s quicker and easier than change wheel. I have zero experience with the wheel swap from spare to any position but have watched all the videos For me. With very little tyre change experience I need as much assistance as I can get. 2022 GU is a different beast. The rear axle is larger in diameter. Therefore will not be a straight swap out for SC or front. The spare is only configured to be swapped at the pusher as its ID is to match the larger axle. I purchased a sleeve kit from Ural Au which provides the sleeves needed to use the spare on all wheels. I did practice a tyre swap and tube change. But, no stop watch on it. I also carry a small scissor jack. I did try the zip tie method and failed badly. I think if caught out in crap weather, I may go for a wheel swap. Then, either replace tube in more comfort of give it to someone else. I still am wishing for a tubeless solution for the rear. On a tubeless rim though. Even if the spare had its disc premounted, that would help. Cos I'm an old bloke, I don’t have the vast experience of many on here, and I don't have enough time to accumulate their knowledge and experience.
