Compliments on an excellent forum and I suspect that I may be a Ural owner in the near future.
It was good to browse your mech issues pages and find nothing drastic LOL.
Aged 65 and retired, been riding solos on and off since I was 12, last bike I put a lot of miles on was a 1969 Triumph Tiger 650, rebuilt that engine and put 40,000 miles on it before it was stolen.
I think a Ural Sahara will be a good fit, no need for speed as I loved the Triumph and reckon I only used maybe 25 or 30 hp of what it had to give.
In Albury so it looks like Eurobrit is nearest dealer, open to suggestions though.
Cheers Richard

G’day
Welcome, you are going to love these machines, so addictive, I’m pretty new to this and now can’t stop riding it. The guys here are a world of knowledge and Have been so helpful. Albury, Just down the road a bit, your not that far from the high country which is my backyard. Dargo is my regular coffee stop. The Ural was my retirement indulgence and keeps me smiling.
The only issue I have is i seem to be late getting home all the time, so much exploring to be done. Jake

G'day Bewildered. We're a bit older than you and retired for a while..Both 72 this year, and our first outfit, after a lifetime on solo's.Welcome to the group. All the folks here are very knowledgeable and only too willing to help. I did most of my research on here and the International "Ural lovers" group. Placed our order with Eurobrits for a GU + Adventure Pack. No issues with them, very helpful. Derek is very good to work with.. We take delivery in early October (our choice) If you are going to do it, don't delay.

Welcome Richard, I'm just a pup in this group, got myself a Sahara last year and absolutely love it . Have met some magnificent people in the sidecar world already and particularly from this group. The Urals are addictive and I have trouble wiping the smile off my face. Enjoy and hope to share a ride and meet in the future. Cheers Pokey.
