It is a good tire. I have been running them since 2008. Used to get 10000km out of the pusher but that seems to have reduced to 7-8k now…….probably changed compound a couple of years ago. Just need to keep the pressures up. 30, 35, 40. Sc, F, R.

Thanks Lee, we will get one this round to see how it goes as we are lucky to get 5k out of the K37, the other one I looked at was these, but more Roady tho www.mcas.com.au/shinko-e270-classic-tyress016-p

Hi, The Shinko tyres are only 4ply
Is that good enough for a Ural?
Cheers

My first Ural came with 2 ply Russian tires and they were Ok. Yes, 6 ply is best but a 4ply that meets the load rating would be ok. The 4ply 308’s do not but I have used them.

...How true to profile are the 308s? Profile isn't as square as the picture when inflated correctly, but the Duro is still the best value $/kilometer.
Tyres4Bikes used to do mine when I was in Brisbane, not sure what they are charging now, but it used to be $20 extra to fit $5 to take the old rubber. ($20 when it's 37 Deg outside is well worth the investment in my mind)
