Here goes!...USCAR (Ural Side Car Annual Rally) showing in future as USCAR-(with the destination) eg. USCAR-Dalgety, USCAR-Omeo etc. ARSTY is our annual Autumn rally and USCAR (if it gets off the ground) will be a Spring rally. The plan is annually basing at a small country town with a good caravan park then doing great day rides WITHOUT any off-road marathons. Some rides will entail some dirt roads but favouring out of the way country bitumen roads with scenery. There’s a catch here though! To qualify you or your partner, passenger etc MUST own a Ural. Ride or drive what you like during the rally but in your stable there must be a rideable Ural (call it Ural loyalty!). Thinking of starting it all off with seven days basing at Dalgety in the Snowy’s in mid October 2019. Anyone interested?...
Cheers Wheels😎

Interested to do some form of Jon’s Ural Adventure ride Sept. 27 as lead into USCAR. Lee School holidays everywhere at Jon’s ride time Lee. We don’t need that on USCAR-Dalgety! Everything is clear from 14 October onwards so thinking Tues 15 October 2019 through to Tuesday 22 October 2019. Great caravan park at Dalgety with a beaut country pub within walking distance for eating out after a happy hour. Some ripper rides around there as you well know. Anyway the iron is in the fire so we will see what eventuates. Cheers Wheels😎

Sounds great Paul, As you may remember Max bought me home stayed 1 night and is up below the gulf looking for that gold stuff. Next time he checks in I will fill him in, he may find a library and check this out. I would be interested so will fill you in. Once again thank you for organising the ride out of Tenterfield we really enjoyed it, just magic and lovely friendly group. Cheers x

Mt Darragh Rd is a popular road for sport bikes - all tar and usually in decent condition.
Snowy River Way from Dalgety is all tar - some maps still show it as dirt - and is a really pleasant ride.
For dirt... look at New Line Rd and Tantawangalo Mt Rd to Candelo (lunch at the pub). Alternatively come down Mt Darragh Rd to Wyndham then take Myrtle Mt Rd to Candelo for an all tar option.
Another dirt option is Big Jack Mt Rd from Cathcart which can take you all the way to Eden on dirt.
These are all easy roads that have no real challenges but are just nice rides. Do you have a particular destination in mind?
