F..cking crazy!...seems like ya gotta be a mind reader on this forum!! (sorta all private ain’t it!) 😎 🤣🤣 Thought I might spark some interest with sparse detail. It is the Off Centre Rally. Held every two years. I missed last year and have spent 11 months regretting it. Prior to that I had attended the previous four... Wanaaring West of Bourke Bramwell Station Cape York and on to the tip. Drysdale River Kimberly Gibb River road Mungerannie SA Birdsville Track These have been absolutely the best ‘distance’ events I have ever enjoyed.👍👍😀😀 No secrets Wheels, lee

I had hopes of attending the last OCR at Mungerannie, however the recuperation from a close encounter with a Roo put paid to that idea Been to several OCRs over the years, which were always good adventures - most memorable for me were Mt Augustus, Mt Dare, Urandangie and excellent events when you (& if) you got there. Adel's Grove / Lawn Hill NP is a lovely place and worth the effort to get there. First went there after the my first OCR that was held at Gregory Downs in 1988. It should be interesting to see how that part of the country has changed since 1988 due to all the 4WD / grey Nomad activity present on the roads since.

I don't know about this one; it's a hell of a long way. Mungerannie was far enough...

Lee, I was't planning on going to the OCR but as I plan to be in that area fairly close to that date, it is a possibility. My last OCR was Innamincka in 1984. Had a great time.
Does anyone know of any camp sites between Adels Grove and Camooweal?
