Pictures look great. We were hoping to join you all the last few days, unfortunately Peter has been in hospital for the last week after a heart attack. Peter is recovering at home after having two stents and will be on the road to recovery after a third one in a couple weeks. Wishing you all well and a safe trip! Regards, Anna and Peter.

Oh my god ! Get well quickly Pete. We miss you both and thought you must have had something else important happening not to be here. Never dreamed of serious health issues even with the current pandemic stuff.

Day six...... Otway lighthouse. Expected to have morning coffee and cake at the cafe but was confronted with a $17.50 entry fee.. Not tight but thought that was about $10 too much just to look at a White weatherboard residence building and a tall white thing with a light on top. Would have had morning tea and skipped the lighthouse but the cafe was inside the "pay gate". With twenty (20) of us we would have spent approximately $600.00 for entry and morning tea.......being Uralistas, we had our thermos and nibbles as backup, so they missed out entirely. We walked to where we could see the lighthouse just so we could say we had, drank our own coffee and ate our own cake......
.....On to Aire River via Sand Road then Red Johanna and Blue Johanna roads with a loo stop and a look at the beach. Then it was up to the the big shed at Ferguson ( last night the ladies wanted to know what was in the big shed we had passed a couple of days earlier)......We had lunch at the SHED and browsed all the arty and historic stuff. Home route was through Beechforest and down the old Apollo Bay - Beechforest road.

Day 7.......
Last ride day βΉοΈ
Six of us (3 bikes) braved the morning drizzle and headed towards Lorne where it rained heavily for a short while before returning to drizzle until we were half way up the range towards Deans Marsh. Destination for morning coffee stop was the Artisan Gluten free Bakery at Birregurra. Sun was shining when we arrived and the coffee was great. Dee enjoyed her GF morning tea and bought supplies for her isolation.....π. The sun dried us out nicely during our hour there. G and R turned up in the Landrover on their way home to Bathurst so we said our goodbyeβs and headed for home through Forest and down Skenes creek road. Back to base for lunch and packed up ready to leave next day. Of course it rained about ten kmβs from home just to make sure we had wet gear to pack up....π€£

Transport day.......a few have already left and those remaining to leave Monday have mostly decided to go straight home and self isolate for two weeks. None of our group have any Covid-19 symptoms but we have been a large group and all have had some contact at shops petrol, stations etc. Despite all of us taking the recommended hygiene precautions, we feel we should isolate for the protection of everyone, including ourselves.
It bas been a wonderful tour despite the elephant in the room. I hope EVERYONE out there takes the correct actions and stays safe and well.
Thank you ARSTy-20 participants........ lee & princess
