Here goes!...USCAR-Corindi Beach 2020 is in its planning stages. Recce one and two are completed and things are looking good. Some great rides over a week are planned (some easy and some unknowns) with good accommodations at Reflections Holiday Park Corindi Beach NSW. The date’s are still up in the air but mid to late October look good avoiding all school holidays. No matter what! social distancing will be strictly observed with commonsense prevailing, but covid is not going to stop us riding our Urals. Expressions of interest in attending at this stage would be appreciated, it makes for good planning, and if you can or can’t make it at the crunch it doesn’t matter, just let me know if your interested! I’ll get an update out when I see what the reaction to USCAR-Corindi Beach 2020 is but please remember it’s still in it’s planning stages but very much on the cards. Cheers Wheels😎 Note..USCAR is only for Ural owners! (ride what you like at USCAR but owning a Ural is a must)

Not fair.......you are just doing that to torment those of us locked up in Vic. with parole from chairman Dan and his red party not even possible until 20th August at the earliest. Then there is Gladys the border bunny who has been taking lessons from Palletchuck and now keen to catch up with her northern girl friend to smash the glass ceiling with the ultimate power of........”go to ‘your’ room and don’t come out until I say so”. Who knows how long Gladys will keep her pants up......oops, sorry I meant border barriers.......how did spell check change border barriers to pants? Hmm, must be a synonym.
Go ahead, be free. Ride your Urals around the country. Use up all the fossil fuels. Destroy the environment. Make ruts in the forest tracks...........who cares, I’m digging a bunker !

Under the current circumstances if it’s achievable and allowable then let’s sensibly ride our Urals to our heart’s content. Going into limbo and not doIng or planning anything (whether it comes off or not) brings no good to anyone😎

USCAR-2020 Corindi Beach Update....unfortunately I’m going to have to can it!.... The third recce found the caravan park overflowing with grey nomads from all over the place and propping! with cabin accommodation mostly booked out. While there was room for camping this doesn’t suit all and not conducive for a successful rally. The camp kitchen has fairly tight restrictions re how many are allowed in there at any one time (which is good) but may make things difficult when there are a lot of people wanting to use it. To top it all off two of the best roads for our Ural rides have been closed until December for bridge replacement which were also access roads to other great day rides. Most surprising was the total lack of social distancing by the grey nomads who should know better. On a happier note!...all being well, it is my intention to plan and organise a future USCAR to Tassie when things eventually sort themselves out. Rob and I have already done two trips on our Urals to Tassie (the first one an ARSTY with ten other Urals and the other just the two of us on both our bikes) and can’t get enough of it! Hope to see a lot of you on Clare’s ride at Uralla. Cheers Wheels😎
