Less parts is better and Ural USA is most definitely not corporate Japan. After watching the changes over the last 5 years, I am starting to think they are becoming more like corporate Japan every day...

If it blew up tomorrow I'd probably default to taking it to Uralla I guess - 1000km. Not sure they would be able to help, when I dropped my engine into Graeme last year he said he was retiring - caravan ready to go...
I'm screwed then. Hopefully it'll be a while before I face this though.

The biggest problem these days - they train Service Agents and Technicians, not Mechanics.

My own Ural ownership is in danger of ending because of a lack of mechanics and it getting harder to do stuff on it myself. If someone came along tomorrow and made a decent offer I might just take it. I have no idea what the dealers listed are like but I don't have much faith and I think the nearest is 4-500km. If it blew up tomorrow I'd probably default to taking it to Uralla I guess - 1000km. Hi Rosco, That's no good its getting difficult. Is there anything particular needs doing to your bike? Is it something a couple of us may be able to give you a hand with?
Thanks, but no. The bike is perfectly fine, I'm just thinking ahead.
Ok, I'll be honest. At xmas time I decided I'd spray under the mudguards and two swingarms with bed liner because it's picked up a few stone chips over the years. it's been sitting ever since and I have no get up and go to finish it. I'm the problem.
