Who uses them and how tall are you??
OR What are the alternatives in replacement handle bars to achieve same or more leverage?

I believe some people have used KLR650 bars. Not me, I'm happy with the stock ones.

Mine had a KLR 650 bar and risers when I bought it. I replaced them with a Ural Bar and no risers after riding Macca's stock 2014 - much better feel and control. The KLR 650 bar doesn't quite fit the clamps, the knurling is in the wrong place not to mention it looks wrong (not surprising since it is for a KLR) Seems that some people were convinced that it was a better option because it had a strengthening cross bar or someone said it was better. Maybe someone bent the Ural factory Bars or felt they weren't solid enough? I tend not to ride that hard that I would bend them and find the factory bars very comfortable, reduce vibration as well as shock and are fit for purpose. I am 186cm - but reach changes if the seat changes. I seem to sit a bit further back on the tractor seat, than I did on the 2/3 solo and Italian bench.

Just the info I was looking to hear. Handlebar, footpeg, seat height relationships remaining unchanged of course. Lol.

I put some risers on that raised the bars about a inch or so and brought them back towards me about an inch or so. I always felt I was reaching forward , they feel good now. I have a bench seat and I slide forwards and back depending on situation. I’m 6 foot , I think you need the bars back a bit so you have the reach when cornering and comfort when cruising. Just my opinion , I’m sure that if I left them as they were I would have just got used to it.
