I hope to be taking delivery of my new GU (ordered last Sept) in the coming months, and I'm starting to research all weather covers. I spoke to Clare today (who was wonderfully helpful) and she mentioned that there was trimmer in NSW who made bike covers but unfortunately, is not there any more... Does anyone have any recommendations as Ural only makes LHD covers? Cheers Frankie

I ordered a cheap large size ATV cover ex Fleabay but that only to keep eyes off the bike overnight whilst travelling. Maybe speak to a Sailmaker ? There are also people who make and repair truck tarps and such.

Large waterproof bike covers on EBay. Fold up tiny. $15.00 I use two.
Danny bought a large cover from the US that does the whole bike but you would not want to travel with it.
DANNY………details please?

Lots of canvas manufacturers around as well. They often also work in lighter materials.

I bought a trike cover - Nelson-Rigg TRK355-D works well as a light dust cover (not waterproof) off Amazon and fits over the sidecar and bike.
They also sell a heavy duty one that would keep the bike dry. There are probably other brands of trike covers that would work as well.

Bloody Ural bike covers are a pain in the ass. Unless their tied down like a truck tarp they’ll start flapping like the bejesus. I can’t count the times mine have flapped that bad in strong winds and rain that a mirror adjustment was required the next day because the cover flogged them out of whack, plus everything else in its road. On one occasion l found the cover shredded in the paddock next to the caravan park we were staying at (Stanley in Tassie) and I thought I had it tied down good. All I use now is a small tough little tarp that covers the boot lid proper and is held down by just as tough ocky straps because my boot lets water in big time. The sidecar cover does a good job keeping the water out of it and the rest gets wet. The chamois fixes that the next morning. Cheers Wheels. 😎

I have a length of 10mm mooring rope (soft braid) that I use to wrap around the whole bike with trike cover over it to keep it on when its windy!
