I've ordered my tyres plus a black bike cover. It all came to less than 20kg so this makes the cover quite reasonable being included in the freight.. The cover weighs 3.5kg so should be fairly substantial. I'll post a pic when it arrives. I've requested a black one, I'm just not a camo type of rider.

I assume it's intended for a bike with the chair on the right hand side? I have one I bought on eBay that was intended for a large quad. It fits fine.

He's having it made for a bike with a LHS chair, same price..... It's also being made to be a tighter fit than normal because it will often be on the Ural on the trailer behind the motorhome. Hopefully will stop it flapping into an early self destruction...

I'd also be interested in a photo when you get it Graham.
I emailed him back in February, but never followed-up on it.
I'm currently using two large motocycle covers; one for the bike and one for the chair, but I'd prefer to have just one and it has proven a hassle to find one that suits our LHS rigs.

Hi Jimbo - happy to help out if you need a bike cover for LHS sidecars as I have finally been able to bring these custom and made-to-order covers into the program this week. I will have a heap of photos and product pages loaded to the website www.sidecarpro.com/ asap, but in the interim, know there will be 3 varieties initially:- digital camouflage, black or grey with felt inner. All will come slightly oversize to accommodate those riding wider handlebars, include 2 rear view mirror pockets, carry bag and security chain that can also act as a drawstring to pull the cover tight at the base. Details below: A000016L - M72 CJ750 Bike and bucket cover - LHS sidecar - incl. 2 x mirror pockets - black - USD65 - 3500g A000015L - M72 CJ750 Bike and bucket cover - LHS sidecar - incl. 2 x mirror pockets - digital camouflage - USD65 - 3600g A000017L - M72 CJ750 Bike and bucket cover - LHS sidecar - incl. 2 x mirror pockets - grey with felt inner - USD65 - 3400g Cheers Ben

Damn, one of those would be nice... oh well, one day. Anything else in the pipeline that would be of interest to Aussies in particular?

I will be launching a new leather parts range shortly - so think sidecar covers, sidecar skins, saddlebags (large and small), leather bar grips, frame mounted toolboxes, headlight covers etc. The leather artisans are "the bomb"... its a small and well established family run operation with their parts all being made to to order and they primarily cover the Harley needs here in China. They are a quality first and foremost outfit. Remember it is riders suggestions that is largely determining what is brought into the program next so I am all ears on what you would like to see me researching. For starters ..... HQ leather sidecar covers - LHS sidecar also possible. Bar rolls/handlebar rolls - choice of colours Frame mounted tool bags - again, choice of colours to match your rides theme. and for the rider with it all - scissor jack and tow rope assemblies. Again, I really like the group buy principle, so if there is enough interest in a particular part and I can group the orders together it saves me so much time and energy and I can then pass these savings straight on, as per the tyre example that started this thread. Cheers Ben

My new Ural cover arrived with the tyres today. Very impressed with the cover, material appears to be excellent quality and has a chain sewn around the skirt so it's easy to put on, even with the wind blowing. Designed to fit without the bike windscreen but okay with sidecar screen. I'll fit a tyre later & report over time.

I did order a parcel of tyres from Ben Horner and they arrived last week. Just on 6 weeks and very well packed. I thought this was very reasonable at the low freight charge. I'll be taking 2 of these with me on my KI trip. I expect they will both be fitted by the time I get to Adelaide and I hope they last long enough to get me back to Ipswich. They are only 3.5 x 19 inch 6 ply walls (I think). I have used similar Kenda (Taiwanese) which were only $40 each plus freight and they gave reasonable service (about 4000 klm till smooth on the pusher). The profile doesn't look particularly flat, much like the Kenda tyres.
