Good evening
I have been thinking about getting a reverse hand lever, just wondering if any of you guys have one and if the are worth it?
My bones are creeky and I have a broken neck fixed up with Ti plates so I am a little bit limited with movement.
Anyway, welcome some input would be cool.
Cheers Andi

Not tried one. But I usually change with my heel and/or right hand.

Ok, one of the foot levers may be a better idea?

Ok, one of the foot levers may be a better idea? Reversing light compulsory in Oz (though dont know if anyone has been pinged for this) it is actuated by the existing lever.

When you get used to operating the reverse lever with your toes it is very easy.

Wasn't someone booked for having a reverse light? or at least had an argument with the plod regards a reward facing white light. personally I think we should have mining truck audible reverse warning signals

2008 Tourist, I have owned since 2010 with said reverse hand lever, I love it. I would rate it 10 out of 10 has not missed a shift with 21000km on the clock.

Scenario….. you fail to make it down a steep incline on a dirt track and the bike bounces and slides towards a HUGE drop off the side.
The only way out is REVERSE. With all the weight on the front, the rear brake just won’t hold the bike.
Do you release the front brake to select reverse with the hand shifter? Or just bail and walk home…..🤣
