Hello Andi and Ellen,
Jenny and I are long term members of this forum. We live in Albany WA, and although we didn't attend the recent get-together north east of Melbourne, we've taken our Ural to previous eastern states gatherings five times, being the only West Australians to do so.
If you're coming to Albany, please get in touch.
Cheers, Geoff.

There's lot's to see and do around Perth, you might want to park up the Ural for a few days and just explore on the train rather than risk your gear getting stolen off it. It's a bit like that these days unfortunately.
Places to visit - Fremantle, Scarborough Beach, Rottnest Island Visit (on the ferry). If you need Ural service work there is a dealer in Wangara (about 20mins from me - I'm in North Perth, just near the city).
I have a secure place to park your bike if you need it, but we are a full house at the moment having recently taken in a foster lad that is a friend of my son's from school whilst he waits for his own government sponsored place to be available.

I am in Darlington - the hills east of Perth. Mine is a 32021 gearup that I have set up for camping. Out in the bush whenever I can and really enjoying it.

G'day Thommo,
Wilmo and I are the only WA members of this forum that post from time to time as far as I can remember. Welcome aboard.
There have not been enough of us to warrant organising any WA get togethers so far.
Regards, Geoff.

I know of another Ural rider that lives 2 streets from me, but he's not on the forum, just rides his to work on Fridays when all his team rides to work. I've also met another guy on the road that lives down Fremantle way, on a Desert Sand coloured Ural, but don't know him. One of the owners of a customising bike shop in Perth owns a Blue 23 Ural as well, and he's riding it to the East Coast at the moment. There's also a lady owner around on an Orange one, and a guy down south on another Orange one that I met on the Desert Raid this year. So there's a few riders around but we all tend to be loners or geographically dispersed!
