NARSTy '16 (NSW Autumn Russian Sidecar Tour (yippee))
Next year NARSTy is headed for South East NSW high country, and accordingly the name is amended to reflect the move to NSW. The main focus area is country in the arc east to south of Tumut, to the edge of the Great Dividing Range.
The last couple of years has seen an increase in caravans and motorhomes attending. Moving to a new town every 3 days means those caravaners and motorhomers don't ride every 3rd day. To help them ride more we have changed the format to generally staying in 3 towns, for 4 four days each.
Easter 2016 comes at the end of March, and the Cold Flame rally (long weekend) is Saturday 12 March. We have to start NARSTy the week before the long weekend so that it finishes the Sunday before Easter. Those wanting to attend Cold Flame can leave the rest of us for a few nights while we are in Cooma. To make it easier we are staying 5 nights in Cooma.
We'll decide each days rides and/or activities as we go. Participants are able to join in with the main group or do their own thing. The ride is an opportunity for Ural riders to have fun with other Uralists, both by sharing riding adventures and general socialising.
All Ural riders are invited, and those who want to join in only have to arrange their accommodation directly. We have preliminary arrangements with caravan parks, details of which are included below. If people want to ride with us and stay in 4 or 5 star luxury then that's quite OK. The parks have a variety of accommodation for those who wish to camp, stay in cabins or travel with caravan and/or motorhomes.

Good Friday is 25 March.
Cold Flame will be nights of Fri 11th and Sat 12th March 2016, & those wishing to attend can do so while the rest of NARSTy are in Cooma
Riders will need to be self sufficient, and will need to assume responsibility for their bike's repair and maintenance. Between us we have a high level of expertise, but each rider should carry basic spares. Jon Taylor is now selling Adventure Spare kits, and I'm happy to email to anyone a list of the spares I alway carry. Donuts, cables, fuses, carb inlet flanges and the like can be the difference between an enjoyable trip and a bike stuck in the middle of nowhere...........
I've been asked if non-Ural owners can join us. I believe its all about having fun and that anyone is welcome to join us. But they have to put up with us, a bunch of happy, fun loving Ural riders.
The caravan parks have plenty on vacancies at this stage. If you plan on joining the fun then book accommodation sooner rather than later.
