Depart Ippy early or mid morning (time to be decided) Friday 19th. Glamorganvale, Lowood, Clarendon, Patrick Estate, Coominya, (beer or coffee) Rocky Gully Rd, Willis Rd, Larsens Rd, Willaura Drive, Esk Rd , Esk (fuel), Highland St (steep bitumen), Lakeview Park (just cause I think there will be a good view), back to Esk and Brisbane Valley Hwy. Left into Esk/Crowsnest Rd, through Biarra, Right into Maria Ck Rd (gravel), becomes Mcgreevy Rd then Left into Middle Rd then Right into Pierces Ck Rd (travelling North again), becomes Blackbutt Range Rd to Mt Binga. Stay on Mt Binga Rd toward Blackbutt..... becomes Nukku Rd. To stay on Nukku Rd vere left and left again onto (probably no sign) forest rd about 3k and a big left hand u-turn, turn Right onto Mort-Douglass Rd (probably no sign again) after about 2k turn Left into Kooralgin- Gilla RD. After 6 or 8 k don't turn left into McDougalls Rd, turn Right and stay in Kooralgin-Gilla Rd. Left hand u-turn over Cooyar Ck and still in Kooralgin Gilla Rd. Turn Left into Kooralgin Yarraman Rd, (roughly follows Cooyar Ck), its now Cooyar Kooralgin Rd, (don't turn back to Mt Binga.) Left into Palms Rd and Left on New England Hwy to Cooyar, 100 metres behind the pub is the swinging bridge park.
We can decide whether to stay at the park or visit Peter at Dukes Rd (about 6 or 8 k away.)
Discuss return trip over a few beers.

The short way Ipswich to Cooyar is about 170 klm. This will make it about 230 and add an hour or 2. Zoom in on Google Maps and try to follow it if you are interested (or just for the hell of the exercise). You will have to zoom right in to pick up the road and track names.

I'll fire up the Spot Tracker if I can remember. The version I have only drops a flag every 10 mins and doesn't actually show the route you take. Lots of the turns on this trip are only a couple of k apart so its a bit hard to follow on complex routes. I'll try to take a few pics as well. Macca, have you had a look at the route on Google maps?

Followed it on Google Maps - would want a cheat sheet on the tank - as I had to re-check several times. Unfortunately won't be able to make it along...

Hi any idea about what time give or take an hour, you might be stopping for fuel in Esk.
