Has anyone got any good sidecar stories? About trips they have done or links to other peoples rides? I enjoyed this youtube video of a ride from Moscow to Magadan on a cT 2017. It goes for 1hr 45mins and is really well produced. At one stage he has the outfit towed through some water with the motor turned off. I think its at about 1hr 30mins. He then drained the air box and extracted the water through the spark plug holes and rode off again.
It made me want to go for a trip in Russia or Mongolia. The link is:

You can't go past Hubert Kriegel. He died not too long ago, but he left one hell of a legacy. thetimelessride.com

Hi Ross, Good to hear from you and thanks for that link. Yes, Hurbert's 10 years on the road is inspiring. I hadn't looked at his site for a while, so now with some more time available it will be good to look at that. The guys on Soviet Steeds sent me a couple of good links: 1. advrider.com/f/threads/uraling-the-great-divide-now-with-more-dogs.906932/That's about the Great Coninental Divide Route, lots of detail on a trip featuring a dog and travel on a carby Gear UP. 2. sidecar.com/forum/topic/travel-happy-as-a-cow-but-dont-ask-the-cowboy__4567/ This ones about two guys on a Jawa 350 outfit. Quite an adventure story featuring mud. My 2019 version of the Russian Tractor just keeps getting faster. I wonder who will be the first person to do the 'Ton'on one? I am not sure if I will make it to the Alpine this year. The area got heavily burnt. I believe the old homestead at the site got burnt. Cheers, Steve
