G'day,
My cT finally arrived Monday after many delays caused by this virus. My local dealer Bruce Watson did a great job of assembly and set up to have it ready yesterday for my 3 hrs of training. They're certainly different and chalk and cheese to a solo. Needed it and looking forward to some sort of competency wih practise. Going to enjoy this!
So all 'geared up' (cT'd up) with nowhere to go until this virus is sorted. Local practice only.
Cheers

Congratulations. Bruce is one of the good guys. Lee Certainly is and his knowledge is phenomenal and generously shared. I'm no expert but his setup seems spot on. Told him if he ever sells cars I'll buy off him rather than dealing with the numpty idiots in that industry. Anyway Ural's my transport choice now. Cheers Deano

Welcome aboard! Yes, practice is essential. I spent the 1st week just pootling around my neighborhood streets getting a feel for the way an outfit handles.

'Pootling' the very word my wife used. That's exactly what I'll be doing!

Welcome to the forum Deano. Lovely machine you have there. Looks like I'm no longer the newest member! I bought mine secondhand in Caboolture a few weeks ago and road it home to Tasmania. Absolutely shit myself on it for the first few hundred km (especially left handers) but it was absolutely exhilarating! Love all of its quirkiness as does my wife. Get used to the UDF and enjoy. Cheers Dale

Dale,
Yeah the first few rides are a bit daunting and a long way to go yet. Getting more comfortable with every ride though, so hope yet! Wife loves it too. Sorting out the ergonomics re gear change and rear brake has made a big difference personally too!
Cheers
