A quick 100km dash down the new motorway from Maclean to Corindi Beach!...had lunch! then back north via Grafton and Lawrence!...”just for the hell of it”😎 Surprised!..first time ever!...did 205kms (on GPS) and didn’t touch reserve!...not bad for a carb Retro!...wondering if it had anything to do with the Amsoil Pi fuel additive I put into the tank the other day which I do every 5000kms. It certainly enhances performance and keeps a clean motor (inside). For proof just pull a plug and have a look at your piston top and barrel before adding the Amsoil Pi then run a tank full of fuel through with Amsoil added pull the plug again and have another look inside...there’s a noticeable difference in the reduction of carbon deposits and things look clean and the performance is definitely better and stays that way. Just sayin!...Cheers Wheels😎

Long as all you diseased Victorian buggers stay away from QLD any rides good. Did the local Hervey Range this morning. Only 70k round trip but refreshing. 21c and what we call Xxxxxx' cold. So far I'm getting 260km bfore reserve light comes on.
Cheers

A quick 100km dash down the new motorway from Maclean to Corindi Beach!... Was trying to get into Botero at MacLean last weekend to grab some coffee and took the first exit after the new bridge - is it tall enough?? ... Next time I will grab the second - much closer Be nice when they finish the complete run from Ballina to Woolgoolga. Yeah, the new fuel injection is much better than the previous......👍🤣 Think you will find the 2018, and up, low fuel sensor got better as well Lee 2015 - 17 the light comes on sometime between 140 and 200 and it depends on the bike too.
Last time I ran it dry was after a spirited ride from Boonah to Glen Innes over the falls. Got within 20k's so that's 240k's for that tank to bone dry. I just use the odometer and refuel at 200 or make sure there is a spare 10 in the jerry.
