G’day Everyone,
Been an avid motorcyclist for 45 years and started adventure riding on beemers 9 years ago and love it. But now looking at the Ural and expanding my adventures. I live at the gateway to the southern end of the high country and feel now the Ural will be perfect for my adventures In my keenness I am currently writing this from NSW as my wife and I head to Uralla to look at the bikes and get a intro lesson on how to ride these at the end of this week. As we live in Gippsland Vic I would be interested to meet up with riders down our way and try and gain more knowledge and your experience. I do understand that this is going to be a steep learning curve and totally different. Let the lessons begin!

Hi and welcome to our forum. I know your area well and have done thousands of k’s in the high country on my Ural. It is well suited to the roads, tracks and trails of the area. We have another new owner in Traralgon that I am yet to catch up with due to the Covid but that should be addressed in the near future.....possibly at the Dargo Rally 11-13 December. If you enjoy camping, why not join us....great ride in to Talbotville. 👍😜 You will find Clare, Mat and Jon (assuming you are doing a ride day with him) at HQ Uralla to be the nicest people and they will not be trying to sell you a bike, they will be inviting you to join a group of wonderful happy Ural owners. You are also welcome to join our group with your new bike, 😀😀heading for a 5 or 10 day tour of Tassie in March......Details in “Rides and Rallies”.
Enjoy your test ride and expect the unexpected.
Cheers, lee 😷
