Hi all, I am a newcomer, who is contemplating moving to three wheels. My motive for such is so I can travel gravel roads with less chance of falling over and the ability to carry stuff (such as cold beer). Am planning a trip to Cape York via Central desert road, hence the outfit.
Am still deciding which way to hop; buy Ural or get an outfit built for me.
My leaning at this stage is Ural as its a tried and true product with less risk. A concern I have is resale. Am in WA where there appears little in the way of three wheels for sale.
Appreciate any comments

Welcome to the other side, what you describe is perfect fit for the Ural, don't worry about resale,if you get the bug you probably won't want to sell it. I'm only new to this but I have been bitten pretty bad, lots of great peeps here who are more than willing to help and advise. Cheers Pokey.

I did Cape York from Melbourne about 10 years ago on my 08 Ural. It did a fine job. 👍🤣

Hi tommy3wheels. Urals are the only bike around that are built as a sidecar rig ex factory. Wecome and enjoy.

Tommy,
Talk to Bruce Watson in Townsville. He is the Ural dealer here and has been building outfits on many makes of bikes for years. A lot of them come from W.A. They ship their bikes to him, he does his sidecar magic and they pick them up and ride home. What he doesn't know about sidecars probably isn't worth knowing. He'll give you all the options you need. His number is 0407 147 247.
Cheers
