Hi, been lurking around here for a while and in July finally got my first ural. A 2019 ranger sahara. Really enjoying it so far, although all these lockdowns have kept my mileage down some. My first sidecar so had been practicing and learning but they have gone and turned my practice spot into a covid testing site. Feeling pretty confident with it on the road but aware that could be a dangerous attitude. I'm in North East victoria, near Bright. Only a few mods so far. Better driving lights on sidecar, led headlight, diy final drive breather, lowered the brake pedal, made a little dash for sidecar and fitted heated elements in its seat ( happy wife etc) lights in the trunk and extra fusebox under riders seat. Just in the process of trying to make a reverse shift lever. Think that about covers it for now. All the best Rich

Welcome Rich, If you get the reverse shift lever going, post pics and specifications. I am sure some others would like to knock one up.

welcome Rich , sounds like some interesting tinkering. just wondering how you secured your "little dash". North East Vic is superb, I lived in Mount Beauty for over 10yrs, living there you use all your motorcycle tyres, now in central vic, flat and square Youll have shoulders of an ox,uraling up there!!

Thanx guys Shift lever still a work in progress. For the dash i brought the sides down and used the 4 screen mounting bolt holes plus added 2 rivnuts across the centre. I would post pics but I dont have the option available. I've tried 3 different browsers although all on android phone. If anyone has any ideas ?
