Hi all, Peter from southern Tassie. After many bikeless years I started looking again and dropping hints... One day she said, why don't you get a sidecar, I don't really want to sit on the back again. And here we are. Impatient as usual we didn't want to wait for a new one. Found a 2015 model with low km in nsw and handed over the money. Currently on our way back to Tassie, already done 1000k in 8 days. WE LOVE IT! Also already suffered the famous cracked F/D case. Be spending more time in the shed by the look of it...

Welcome taz and the missus. Might catch you up some time in Tassie. Good luck with it. Pretty sure you'll both have ball. Lots of knowledge here mate.

Also the Wheels siloc pin mod should prevent it ever happening again. More info > CLICK HERE < 2015 in NSW? Was that the cT at port Macquarie?

Thanks guys for welcoming us. Definitely lots info here. That's actually how I found the forum, looking for info. Will certainly do a 4 bolt mod on the F/D. But thinking of maybe using counter nuts instead of pins.
Thanks for your offer Lee, actually going to St. Kilda today and on to ferry tomorrow. But to be honest, as im doing the mod anyway, it might be easier to just order a cover.
Crack is not getting bigger since I loosend off the axle a bit and do the nuts up regularly. Oil loss now down to a few drops.

We’re in the best part of tassie, the Huon Valley in the south east corner. By all means let us know when you’re around, there is always a spare bed. Also a well equipped shed should the need arise…
So what accessories make the ranger? I really just need to know for the insurance. I don’t want to give them a loophole should we ever need them.
