I got everything except the front rack. Plus one thing I found is that pictures of the tourist always have a sidecar windscreen. So I guess that makes mine a ranger. That's what I told the insurance. Thanks guys!
Btw: It tracks beautifully straight, whoever set it up did a great job.

Things were a bit different in 2015 haitch. The rego should be right and it is highly likely that it was imported into Aust as a Tourist and bits were added by the dealer. When I got mine I was lucky enough to have the original import paperwork. Rang Eurobrit and they confirmed it was imported as a Tourist and they fitted the spare and SC light which are standard with the ranger. If the guy you bought it off was the first owner just find out where he got it from and confirm with them.

I wish it had come with a screen. Now I need to buy one! I’ll get on to Ural next week, they might have a definite answer. I’m 3rd owner, so not easy to get info.
We’re on the ferry to Tassie right now, looks like a calm crossing

Rangers just had different paint and spot light on SC. Might have the silly thing in the top of the tank as well.

I just thought I should finish the discussion on which 2015 model bike I actually got. I talked to Clare who checked the vin# and my bike is definitely a Ranger. BUT --- Back then the only 2 models available in the Australian Vehicle Register were the Tourist and the Retro. So when it got registered the only option in the computer was one of these two. So I guess there are quite a few more Rangers out there who are registered as a Tourist. This might be of interest to some of you. I now have to go back to the insurance and find out what they want to insure it for...

It the same bike anyway. There are lots of Tourists around with the same accessories as the “Ranger”. Just include your accessories in the detail.
I have registered and insured a few Urals and never even asked a model designation other than year.
