I should have been down the back mending fences but where is the fun in that...
Headed off to Coopernook for cheap fuel, ran out 3k's before I got there. The fuel light was solid which normally means I have 40k's or so, problem was I couldn't remember how far I had gone since it went solid... A couple of litres from the Jerry, one on the tank and some on the ground (funnel was not in the boot, so must remember that) and off to the servo. I will post a great trick for EFI guys in another thread.
Across Lansdowne Forest and wanted to see if Juhles Mountain Rd was navigable, it isn't. I could have saved myself a few kilometres if I really thought about why the grass in the middle of the road was so high.
Back to Fords Rd, Stewarts River, Hannam Vale, Lorne and then onto Comboyne.
Breakfast at the Udder Cow Café and a coffee, good food nice people - the photo of the café isn't meant to be artistic, must have had something on the lens.
Headed back down the Comboyne Rd and took a detour to Elands then down Bulga Rd. A couple of k's down Bulga I came across a BMW drive who didn't look very happy, been raining recently and the roads haven't been graded
Dappled Sunlight on forestry roads looks great, but hides the pot holes. Found myself spending too much time looking where the front wheel was going and not through the corners like I should have been.
The reason I went down Bulga was to check Warrawillah Rd and see if it went through to Mooral Creek. It does although a lot of creek crossings so probably a dry weather road. Mooral Creek to home.
I would say the 80% of that is dirt, mostly forestry.
The bike ran beautifully - all in all a good day to be a Ural Rider.
