Greetings from Oregun, USA.
I'm 76 years young and have been motorcycling since 1968.
About six years ago I bought a new to me 2012 Ural Patrol and put about 20K kms. on it and thought I needed to be back on two wheels After about 2 years my knees gave up the ghost kicking the BSA Lightning. Starting to ramble, sorry.
One year ago I bought a 2011 G/U and have not looked back. I love and loved my experiences with both Urals. Really looking forward to perusing, and using this your site.
Thank you for being there!

Welcome Ragman. I've only just joined, and don't even have my 2022 Gear Up yet. Lot's of good info, and whilst I've not met any of the blokes, they seem like a good bunch.

Cheers Ragman Excellent to have you here but I am an old Triumph TR6 man so no sympathy for your endless attempts to start an A65 [: I am new to the Ural but can see that anyone capable with typically arcane Britbike design should have few issues with the logical flat twin. Despite my prejudice the 1969 BSA Firebird is the prettiest [solo] machine ever.

Hi ragman.
Wife and I are on our first Ural,A 2022 GU. Neither of us has ridden an outfit before, though at least 50 years of solo's both here and over seas. We are both 73 years young. Welcome and enjoy. Remember, we ride on the other side. The chair is on the left.
