Thanks for going to all the effort Haitch, hopefully when we get to share a ride I get the flat pusher and not you. Looks like quite a process, wouldn't like to do that in some of the spot I've had to change wheels. Can you interchange wheels Now? Cheers Pokey.

I think the vid doesn't quite represent how long it may take. A lot of time was spent scratching the grey matter. I now have a better idea how it goes. I did post a link to my dealer and Ural Australia. In case they have some short cuts. We will see. I may do a stopwatch test later on. Cheers mate.

Some things to reduce your time H. You don’t need to Jack the SC wheel or remove disc bolts and mud flap. Top of wheel to the left and twist the flap inwards. Jacking high helps. ……..Position of the drive flange has nothing to do with phasing so don’t bother to mark that. If you are removing the drive end from the spline (to grease it) you will need to align the yolks on both ends of the shaft when refitting for correct phasing.
As you discovered putting the caliper mount back in, flexing the swingarm slightly to the left facilitates that for removal as well. Watching how easily your axle came out, you are very fortunate URAL appears to have addressed the interference fit.
Every new owner should remove all three wheels at home at least once, if not twice. 😇. Only the tools you carry should be used.

Yoke and spline came out to check and grease. Was very happy with axle removal. Still can't see how the backing plate gets past the cap screws. Need to have another go.
