A couple of years ago I bought a lap rug from Canada. It turned out it was made of the wrong material and soon fell apart. A replacement was offered but in the end that didn't happen. (a combination of factors)
I have someone local capable of making me a new one, which I will do soon, but I was wondering if there would be any interest in having her make several while she's at it?
I loved the lap rug, for bad weather/cold I reckon nothing matches it. You are completely protected from feet to near chest height and they eliminate the crotch trickle effect...
The original cost about $250 I think from memory, but I have no info at all to offer anyone at this stage. I just thought I'd see if anyone was interested at all?

Hi Ross,
After waiting nearly 12 months I finally received my lap rug from HDFLAME late last year. Haven't got around to using it yet but it looks to be high quality. Might go a fit it to the bike!

It's funny looking and a bit awkward to use at first, but in cold or bad weather they're great! (mine wasn't from HDFlame)

Here is a pic of mine, I still haven't used it. The tape measure is open to 1 metre to give some idea of scale. Attachments:
