Sorry, another question, not sure what I am doing wrong but I can't get the steering lock to work.
Maybe I need a gin to get past my senior moment 😂
I have read through my user manual and Mrs.Google came up with nothing, any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Andi

Actually Lee, mine does. I have just replaced the steering head bearings and checked the operation of said steering lock and it does work. You need to full lock it, then turn the bars back slightly, while turning the key, and it will lock. Lubrication helped immensely.
The worn steering head bearings became noticeable by going stiff and lumpy during the UAR. When removed were found to have been lubricated with a very small amount of Yak's poop... at least that's what it looked like when it came apart. 17,000 kms. replaced with new and it's all lovely again.

Well gezz miker it does work, but my steering is literally half way between full lock and straight and to be honest I didn't turn it back that far.
If someone does nic it they will be able to ride it half way round Ozzie...but not NZ 😂

Yep. Mine does work with much finangling and waving of handlebars. I figure with reverse selected, kill switch on, in gear, and handbrake on. Anyone stealing it would be using a flatbed and winch. 😅😅😢😢
