Hello all .. Blu and I are out for a week riding from Esperance Wa to Rockhampton Qld .. Tonite I'm at Caiguna on the Nullabour .. $75 for a cabin compared to $150 back at Balladonnia .. Headwinds where a prob from Esperance this morn as I only get 5km out of Norseman an ran out of fuel and put my 10ltr spare in to get me to the servo .. $1.70ltr at Norseman , $2.05ltr at Balladonia and I haven't fuelled up yet here in Caiguna till morning .. Will be taking more photos as I go but just couldn't be bothered today as I was sittin behind a few caravans headin east aswell .. Will set up the GoPro tomoro for more photos .... Attachments:

Hello blue,
Looks like u are having a great time heading East, any idea where u will be on Thursday around lunch time, I should be in and around Peterborough for a few hours.

Hi Rob .. At moment I'm not sure as I'm at Nullarbor roadhouse for the nite as there is a fatal up the road from what I'm lead to believe ....

Out and about today from Caiguna to Nullarbor .. There is plenty of dual purpose roads out here for cars , trucks and Planes .. Got to Wa/Sa border village to see Roo who was the Brisbane Olympics mascot I think for memory .. Out on the Great Australian bite Blu wasn't afraid to run over some rocks to get to where she is .. All up now I think I have covered 1,100km and Blu is taking it all in her stride with a majority of between 80-90 kmh and some 95-100kmh with some great tailwinds .. $2,05 at Caiguna this mornin .. Wa/Sa border village was $2,07 which surprised me and tonite was $1,97 here at Nullarbor roadhouse with another $139 in room fees :-( (not happy) .. But it's a room and shower .... |

Blu was havin fun gettin a good position to get a photo out on the rocky edges to the Great Australian bite .. Less than 1km from Nullarbor roadhouse is the Western end of the tree less plains .. The menu tonite is a corker .. I'm a sucker for the punk in soup and I'm havin spaghetti for tea while weighting this or waiting on it .... |

Well peeps I officially have the Flu .. Don't ask .. All I can think is from Esperance to Caiguna with whind hittin me on my chest as it was cold the first days riding and needed a shower after I got off the bike and another one the next mornin aswell to try to warm up again .. I had the heater on flat out overnite aswell and same the next day and nite so I'm here in Ceduna Sa resting for two days as I can't cough without my check breaking to pieces .. Any way if your traveling through Ceduna on the way somewhere call into Mozzies diner for breakfast , lunch or tea as it is the best around .. And while I'm on it I'm camping at the Big4 caravan park is $20 a nite unpowered Here in Ceduna .. I will be on the road again tomoro with a few more pixs and posts so keep tuned in folks .... |
