Morning all, we bought a Duro as a replacement for the K37, even tho they are both 4.00x19 the height difference is 45 mm new to new. Even the worn out K37 is taller, while the specs say not as square the profile of the Duro is seriously road oriented. Some pics for your viewing

Then measure against your spare. Interested to see what the difference is. Perhaps a means of gearing down?? OR reducing top speed?? Whilst the tyre is off get wider rim tape or use gaffer reinforced tape..The skinny stuff sometimes leaves spoke nuts exposed just itchin to cause grief on your tubes.

My quote for more than a decade has been and still is………” It is a Ural, don’t overthink it”. Thinking/overthinking is and has been imprinted in my DNA for many decades. I was paid well to do exactly that. Besides, its the way I learn.

Nothing wrong with being a thinker, provided it leads you to the least complicated conclusion. I have always loved the KISS method. Thats why overthinking leads to the KISS principle. In addition, I hate reinventing the wheel or mousetrap or whatever. A good thunk gets you past that. But for me, I need to tap into the collective knowledge of them who have been there and done that.
