What a great idea. I remember when our kids were young we used to count "buggies" on car trips - VW Beetles. They loved the game. Doing this with motorcycles seems a great way to increase motorcycle awareness.
On our current trip, we were riding the outfit from Monkey Mia back to the A1 and I saw a rental motorhome driving on a minor road from the right towards our main road. The ground was flat so I watched him for about 30 seconds and calculated he would reach our road at the same time as we reached the intersection - so I was ready for him. And, sure enough, even though there was a Give Way sign presented to him, he just pulled straight out in front of me. It was unbelievable - visibility was so clear. He just did not look at all. I had slowed to the point where I could stop in time in case he did this but it was SO ANNOYING. Clearly this happens now and then in traffic conditions but this example stands out to me since the situation developed over about half a minute on flat ground with no significant vegetation.
Cheers, Jake
