A few days to get to the 10th KLR Riders Rally at Tottenham this weekend,then a few more to return home.
Just drifting along & camping when I see a good spot.
Aunty Jack will be first Ural at a KLRRR while Dexta stays home and sulks .

Britain, Victoria, NSW ?? 😳 I guess as its only a few days on the road it's not GB  It's unlikely we would have a motorcycle rally in a industrial suburb of Melbourne , possible but unlikely.  So beautiful downtown Tottenham the closest town to the geographical centre of NSW is it. |

Ashford last night . Woke up to a frozen tent and water in the billy iced up. Metho in Trangia didn't want to burn , -2 will do that  Asford was a nice little town back in the day,now all the shops are closed,even the pub not operating. Great little van park ,$10 in honesty box. AJ is running like a Russian watch |

The KLR rally was a ripper , 25 KLRs (one with a sidecar) yand a Ural. Tottenham van park was ideal, cheap donga accommodation if required , full equiped kitchen , the best set up for the rally in the last ten years. Sunday was a ride to Narrabri via Pilliga ,raining (some playing in the mud)so overnight in motel. Monday was a wet and cold ride from Narrabri home via Tenterfield,Liston,Legume,White Swamp to Boonah. Lots of muddy fun on this section. AJ went well,not one problem and was great fun in the slippery mud. Loaded with full solo camping gear + 20lt of exta fuel ,10lt of water etc averaging about 16 kpl at 85-90kph. A great 6 days away from the city. |
