As the mountain is haunted by cops these days the solo bike blasts are over. Now it's the Grom or Ural to have some fun & keep the speed under 70 kph. π

That's the area Lee π A well known bikers road up the mountain that due to the high accident rate is now infested with police bikes and unmarked cars.A beautiful area with a magic road up , or the alternative dirt "Goat track" (one way,up only) that Andy used. Before the infestation it was a regular ride for me on the solo bikes but having a bit of fun suddenly became very expensive and hard on points.π
Hi Andy A bit wet up there mate π We were back home by 12.30 and missed it.

Goat Track isn't very long but it removes a huge portion of very tight turns if you are going from Stamford to The Gap or the other way around.
Just got back from South Ripley Road to Jimboomba. Beat the rain home, bit annoyed I didn't get to test out the new diagnostic kit on a run, maybe next week.

Ripper Road π Or that's what it got branded by the KLR blokes π Are they still stuffing up a good ride by making improvements for the benefit of a certain big developer out that way ? π€π‘

They are doing something on Wyatt Road end, but South Ripley and Undullah Rd are good fun. Eventually Flagstone and Cedar Creek will meet but for now the trees rule. No GPS with me so just kept pointing it at the sun when I hit a T intersection, be interesting to see if you can get across to Millbong on Wild Pig Creek Road. Only saw one 4WD which is a good thing as most of the crests were very blind. Some bad corrugations, but over all a good run.
Unfortunately the bike started running rough on the way back so I just headed home. Now to see what is up...
