Another brilliant day out - after the coffee we went for a ride. Highlight of my day was getting a run on Chris's monster. What can I say but omg... it sticks to the road and goes pretty quick too. I watched the speedo climb past 140... Macca got to try the Ikon's on my bike - will let him tell you what he thought (still need to add some pre-load to the back because the Ural spanner doesn't fit and Chris nearly lost a finger when we did the front) Chris got to ride two EFI models. I will leave that response to him, but a good thing to come out of all of this is that he thinks my front forks might be off-line and the triple tree needs a slight tweak - I just thought it was a Ural thing but I think he is right. Of course there were two hotels stops. This is the route if you want to have a look at Google Maps. Rosewood - Grandchester - Mount Mort - Moorang - Tarome - Aratula - Mount Alford (pub) Coocjhin - Maroon - Cannon Creek ? - Milford - Boonah (Dugandan pub) - Teviotville - Roadvale - Milora? then back to Yamanto where were went our seperate ways.

Great company, interesting roads, cooler summer day with a few light showers, cold beer, hot coffee, wonderful scenic rim scenery and no bike issues all add up to a fantastic day. The only downside is that after riding the EFIs, ..... I want a new bike !!! New wheels are a great success,..... just a lot harder to get the rear end breaking loose. Cheers to all !!!

Ok, please tell me how you fitted the wheels and what needed to be done to achieve that end.

I listened to Chris explaining how it was all going together over several months and the idea I had in my head had nothing to do with what it ended up looking like.

Only one bloke can explain the wheels 😀 Re the IKON shocks on Andys bike - They were set too soft when I test rode but a hell of a difference over the Ural truck springs , smoooooooth 😀(later set up a notch & Andy said a vast improvement ) I will be ordering a pair for the front ,after checking on the non adjustable dampening type being tested in the USA.
