Which is good because the whole suspension thing has got me asking myself a lot of questions I am not really good at answering and I need someone to take the sag measurements whith me on the bike and someone (Chris) in the chair

Mine had zero static sag for years until many thousands of corrugated kilometres took their toll on the rear.

Whatever you do, don't trust Chris with the tape measure!

Ok, we let Macca use the tape measure?
Ikons Lee - I doubt my old Sachs had any sag what so ever, but I know the Ikons do. I just wanted some measurements so I had a baseline.

Soggy. Measured the suspension sag with Macca on the bike. (this is with the Ikons fitted) 18-19mm on the front and 25 on the rear. Chair didn't move. So going on the magical fitting guide from Ikon where 15mm is a single increase in pre-load, I need 1-2 preload on the front and full 3 on the rear - which is the opposite of what I currently have. My set up was done in haste, with no testing, to overcome the horrible wallow at speed - might be time to find a bit of road and test and set it up it properly.
