Is anyone else planning on doing the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on Sunday 29 September this year? The DGR raises funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. You dress in dapper gear and must be riding a cool bike. The types of bikes are listed under a style guide on the web site. Of course Urals meet the criteria! This morning I registered for the Nowra ride and got a surprise that two other Urals had already registered. The ride is held in locations all over the world and Australia. I can really recommend the Nowra ride. A great bunch of people turn up riding bikes such as a 1940’s Indian, original S3 Guzzi, R90/s BM and a Beeza with a Tillbrook chair. Ross, that would be great if you could make the ride. We plan to stay in Huskisson on Saturday night for an easy ride to the start on Sunday morning. Then it would be back to Husky pub for lunch on Sunday. The ride will be about 50km in distance.

Sounds good to me! Another thing though - the Bega Motorcycle Expo is having a Ural stand done by the new dealer at Mittagong. I'll be there and I thought it'd be good if some owners supported him there?  |

Thanks for the invite to the Bega bike show Ross. It sounds like a good day out but I dont think I will be able to make that. Did you get your bike back together? It was a great riding day today.
