Absolutely not. The axle is bent or the set-up alignment is wrong.

Absolutely not. The axle is bent or the set-up alignment is wrong. Consideration! ... If the rider is a heavyweight with no passenger then the suspension on the bike proper is taking the weight of the rider and helping relieve the weight on the sidecar suspension causing tilt of the whole rig biased to the rider in turn causing wear on the inside of the sidecar tyre (maybe also causing unusual wear on the other tyres as well). The difference between a loaded Ural with a passenger compared to an unloaded Ural with no passenger is dramatic. Performance, drivability and tilt angles of a Ural are all dependant on your rider weight, passenger weight and load weight as well as suspension and alignment settings...There are a lot of variables to get right!...if you can! Cheers Wheels😎

Another consideration ... My SC tyre is worn on the inside because it used to live on the front.

Another consideration ... My SC tyre is worn on the inside because it used to live on the front. So that still means your set-up is wrong Andy. The front should wear evenly. The rear is the only one that can exhibit slightly uneven wear when set-up is correct.........I am sure you have all noticed the rear wear ! 😜

So that still means your set-up is wrong Andy. Maybe not, the front came from the rear. As for the set-up, I don't have an issue with it. The alignment was checked by an authorized Service agent and they said it was ok. Macca and I checked them again at his place and it was all within limits. That doesn't answer Bruce's question - post photos of "heavy wear" mate and you might find it isn't or it really is

Putting a worn rear on the front is not the best idea. The front needs to be the best tyre for correct steering, the other two can get away with uneven wear.

Hi Brucecul. Just had a look at mine 6,500ks Ranger. Yes quite noticeable wear on inside. Mind you I do have some concerns regarding the straightness or lack thereof the bike. Have noticed recently that at low speeds the brakes surge as if something is bent. Do you have any other issues bar the tyre wear?
