I've used Oxford heated grips for years but always disliked the bulky wiring from the grips + having to mount the control unit somewhere, just fitted these "White" units, no bulky wiring, heat settings changed with your hands on the bars (controls on inner end of l/h grip), didn't feel like removing the tank etc so just ran the wiring down to a plug for the "meter" plug in the chair Attachments:

How do they go? I'm planning on getting a set myself. Do you have a link?

I have had Oxfords on many bikes and they have always been great. I strayed once to another brand (fail) and now have another set of Oxfords in the box waiting for fitment. 👍👍👍🤣

Hi Dave I had a pair of Oxford heated grips on my bike when I bought it a couple of years ago. I didn't like them as the handgrips were not a tight fit and would turn on the throttle and clutch side handle bar. I could never get the rubbers tight enough so I removed them. I was living in Broome at the time, may have to refit them now I live back in the cold weather of Bunbury. Any ideas to tighten the rubber grips. Regards Doug

Regards Doug Simple securing......use silicone (silastic). You don’t need more than a light smear but you do need to leave it overnight to cure properly. Super glue failed for me EVERY time.

cheap super glue is no good, I've always used UHU from the newsagent, the Whites only needed a bit on the l/h grip, the right was a snug fit with a bit of a soak in hot water
