Geeez, if it is going to take you a number of months in the ambo.....you would be better off on the Ural. 🤣🤣🤣

Yes I did take delivery on 16/6. I insured it through Shannons. I have done 300 Kms but I am still carrying 40 Kg of sand in the sidecar. I have just comeback after being on Dirk Hartog island with my 4WD club ( Mitsubishi 4WD Club of WA). 7 days on the island but 3 weeks away. We have purchased a holiday house in mandurah so we are travelling back and forth which cuts down my time near the bike. I am experiencing UDF - one day at Bunnings had 3 different people start to chat. Fun Fun!

Great to hear that you took delivery. I also spent some time at Dirk Hartog in July at the homestead, took our boat to Denham and then over to the island and stayed in one of their camp setups with my wife and teenage sons. As for the Ural - I ride every weekend with the dog who is 30kg from home to Nedlands foreshore. It handles much better with a bit of weight in the sidecar so keep that 40kg in there permanently! We get our picture taken and the dog many pats and conversations every time we head out. My mother in law is in North Yunderup on the Murray River if you bought in that area. Most of the neighbours know each other there!
