I’m always tinkering with gadgets. I got this tyre pressure sensor gadget for my daughter’s car , but decided it might be handy on the Ural. Anyway here is a test video.

Keith. You're an effin legend. If its any use, we've been using TPM's on our 4x4 for years. They are well worth the money and reliable if choosing the right brand. Paid for itself 2 or 3 times now. As we are yet to collect our 2wd, your video is priceless. Hope to do similar. Thanks so much.

Love it Keith, keep the tech coming We all have different ideas abut tyre pressure and it depends on the tread used, but I think you could drop your SC down a bit 25-28 for a better ride.

The master! Jon Taylor, told me years ago 25-30-35 psi is it for him. It works!...on my 18” wheels I found those pressures not quite enough and do 30-32-40 psi. It works. (That’s empty or loaded but shock settings are critical and adjusted as necessary) When Bobsie had her Tourist and it was loaded and travelling on tar the pusher was upped to 40 psi. 😎

It has been 30-35-40 for me. It was more about handling on the tar and pusher life. Lower on the dirt works.......if you can be bothered changing. Comfort on a Ural is a different issue. 🤣🤣

Ok thanks guys I was just going on what the book said. When I picked the bike up , all the tires were low , front was very low. I rode home and the next day for a short trip before I checked them. I just assumed they would be correct , stupid me I guess. So I put the 32 , 32 , 36 as in the book and the bike handled so much better So I will experiment with a bit lower in the side car , but at this early stage in my sidecar career it will be hard to tell much difference , maybe. Much fun and learning to be done. I’d be interested in your thoughts on suspense , it seems very hard and bouncy to me , but I’m such a newbie.

The only thing that has stopped me doing this is that the car 'head unit' will not be weather proof? The bike ones are, but of course they only monitor two wheels.
