Pushes on left side......nothing extra to remove. Right side.....puller or slide hammer is larger to carry and more dangerous. Bearings all sealed and normal hand push fit. It is just the cumulative effect. 1wd can require persuasion as well. Thanks Lee. Was thinking more about jacking bolts through the flange. Not slide hammer or puller. Just a couple of longish bolts.

quote... “1wd can require persuasion as well” unquote... Most all 1WD rear wheel axles slide right on out...BUT! if one is found firm all it requires is to slacken the two final drive nuts and out she comes!...NO monster hammers, NO pullers, NO hassles. 😎

So which side does the axle come out on the 1WD? Assuming the final drive nuts you refer to are on the right side too and are they the ones holding FD to swing arm?

Leave most of it at home, use the spindle, yoke and two set screws / nuts. For the price you could even cut the unused angled bits off the yoke. Maybe a kilogram ?

The more I read about the 2wd the more sure I am that I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole.
