I removed the rear wheel from a 2012 Tourist today........required a BIG hammer and solid punch. The owner would have never got the wheel off..... I could not help thinking how good it would be if my little axle pushing tool could work on the 1wd. 🥴🥴

I have already declined offers of manufacture and sale. What I do, is for friends. Phil’s axle is the tightest I have seen so far and I had it out at Apollo Bay..😳. Linished and lubed and now ok. 👍

Great advice Andy......this one has not been out since March 2020 and I don’t recall it being a bother then.........at least the 2wd does not have a pinch bolt. 🤣🤣 I sure would have had my 2wd axle out faster.......😜😜

I think you've probably seen what I think. Even in America there's rule of thumb that says 2wd just lets you get stuck 100 meters further from help. Great for snow and slush but not much
But everyone has heard of the 2wd and wants to know why we couldn't get it here so the factory made this mechanical marvel which will probably sell like hotcakes but will not actually do much more than a 1wd will do.
Stuck on a hill trying to get moving? Sand? You'll get some grip but you'll still burn the clutch out.

Does the Left hand drive unit which has been around for a long time have 7 bearings? Do "wrong siders" complain of issues removing the rear axle?
I know all servicing it set up for the left hand drive unfortunately.
