All the back roads farm to town are pot holes and repairs. I run 30psi rear 25 front and 20 side car - usually set when tires are warm. All shock preloads set to soft and 85 kilo rider. Apparently this is wrong and 10 psi too low all round? Tire wear looks and feels even and smooth and ride /handling is acceptable. Who can tell me otherwise?

What tyres/ply and load rating? What is the loaded weight on the rear wheel?
Know that and you should be able to work it out. For cold initial pressure. Usually max load and pressure on the sidewall or in the tyre specs. Other may offer first hand experience. Mine is theoretical.

G'day Red41, I ran 15 psi in the front tyre on sandy coastal tracks on the Nullarbor some years ago and found the bike understeered and ploughed straight ahead at speed on left hand corners. This was in conjunction with 12 psi in the chair and 17 psi in the rear, with a Tubliss system in the rear. When I slowed down on the left handers it was ok. These were half my normal loaded pressures.
Later that day I encountered some severe 4wd ruts and sand hills on the track to Eyre Bird Observatory. I deflated further to 7.5 psi in the chair, 8 psi on the front and 8 psi on the rear and made it to EBO, but ripped the front valve out of the tube on the return journey due to the amount of counter steering required with no rim lock. My experiments with tyre pressures in sand were at one end of the spectrum.
Your pressures sound OK to me on potholed, rough roads at steady speeds. I normally run 5psi more than you all round these days and just back off on the rough stuff.

If it looks and feels ok, and you are comfortable with it, then who is to say it is wrong? Changed things on my bike too many times based on the opinion of "experts" only to find it was worse than what I had.
