hmm, i saw a post on fractured rims and thought well if you have to replace rims, what alternatives are there? A tubeless rim would be nice, with the spokes on the outside. Chang Jiang now have them.
Given being in lockdown, too much time on the computer.
I found this interesting website, they do a tubeless rim kit for the Ural, apparently the standard rim isnt compatible but if you had to replace rims!

I have done all the rims on my honda with success using the silicone and tape method.....fine for 4 years now. Did one rim on my GU the same way and it is perfectly fine. Went ahead and did two more rims at the same time.......both leaked badly. Did one of the rims 3 more times and failed each time. Frustration got the better of me and I gave up. I will try again with a different product. The major problem is the new Japanese manufactured rims have a larger spoke nipple head. They stand up like great lumps and make it difficult to get a good seal.......I must have been just plain lucky on the first wheel. 😳

Can a BMW 19" tubeless Front rim be laced to a Ural hub? Or are the number of spokes different?

Different spoke number. Ural rim has more ......many more than most bikes. 👍
