Luckily it only takes a few minutes to adjust , working well again now.

At $195 - I prefer my 10/12mm spanner or a piece of innertube The CanAm brake is rubbish - totally agree, the handbrake that goes with it is rubbish - no one is arguing against that, but setting the thing up correctly (tech bulletin S012014) and spending 5 minutes a week isn't a big ask to have it work well every time. It is an integral part of the rear brake system and needs to be adjusted correctly for the rear brake to function properly. The calliper nut only needs to be done when you are running out of adjustment which should be about monthly for a daily rider although using it 20 times a day seems a bit excessive. Richard, mine is a 2015 like yours.

As the rear pads wear, adjusment is required. Can be done at handlebar for a while but eventually will have to do it at rear caliper. Return your handle bar adjustment to minimum and your good to go for another little while. Its something I check every time I get on. Just another bit of Ural fun and games.
