As the rear pads wear, adjusment is required. Can be done at handlebar for a while but eventually will have to do it at rear caliper. Return your handle bar adjustment to minimum and your good to go for another little while. Its something I check every time I get on. Just another bit of Ural fun and games. 2015 so nothing on the bars.

Oldmate,
Lee is trying to say that with the bullet brake (replaces master cylinder banjo bolt and activates front brake) there is no need for the bar lever to activate the rear park brake. Correction Lee if I'm wrong.
Cheers

Does it use the hydraulics of the front brake?. If so it may not be legal. Trailers/ caravans etc ( in NSW ) must have mechanical handbrake. Cannot rely on hydraulic pressure. That's if I understand what your saying.

...If so it may not be legal. Trailers/ caravans etc ( in NSW ) must have mechanical handbrake. I thought that too, but according to the guy that did my Blue slip, when I came down from QLD, it is not a requirement for motorcycles under 1 tonne registered in NSW. I showed him where the hand brake was and he laughed. I was a bit annoyed because I had gone to the trouble of making sure the bloody thing would work! And a tonne is a pretty big ask, I wouldn't think even the king/queen trikes would come in at that although maybe ChrisDips (RIP) frankenbike would have cracked the tonne fully loaded. Andy, it was the Bullit Brake I used heaps yesterday.. 👍👍🤣. I did use both while on the Ferry though. How does the Bullit Brake perform when you are facing up a hill?

Bullit brake is hydraulic. It works very well and simply. It is very convenient although could be a little pricey. No it cannot be used as a legally required park brake……(..Vic does not require a park brake on an outfit j
Andy, it locks the front wheel so the rest depends on slope, gravity and surface friction.

Thanks all for the info. Ours works fine when adjusted but needs constant care to keep it so. Think will just put up with that. Will be interesting to see how the 2022 set up fares. ( separate park brake pads).
