It is, as Lee mentioned, but it can be de-burred although you might want to check the cost out first because I think the OEM one was around $180. I put mine behind the tractor seat and it is put to great use. Just the right size and shape to hold my old canvas tool caddy when broken done on the side of the road

Do you, or anyone else know where they are made??

A word of warning to those of you that are fitting aftermarket racks etc to their new Ural’s. The metal in both the SC and mudguards on Ural’s can be a little difficult to drill as the metal is both tough and thin. Doing some serious and unsightly damage is on the cards if that drill grabs and drives the drill chuck onto the surface you are drilling, or worse still, while trying to prevent that from happening, your reverse pressure pulls up when the drill grabs (which is what generally happens) and the point of the drill ends up back down where you don’t want it with awful results (some will know what I mean). Just take extreme care when doing the job…just sayin! Cheers Wheels 😎

We recently put on a nose rack. Bought from Clare at the last adventure ride. Yes I know I'm slow at lots of things. Very solid unit(not pressed), stainless bolts/nut and rubber mounting blocks. About $270 from memory. Measure twice drill once. Use a center punch to stop the drill wandering and drill in increments. Looks great. Unit comes from Austria. Has a Ural header on the paperwork. Says order No. FE8214 and Artikel Luggage carrier side car Ural front.
