Ok everyone with a winch. I have a chinese 4500lb winch. Looking from the back, winch horizontal, the motor is on the right. If I stand it up vertical the mounting base is to the right. Still looking from the rear of the combination. Note also that the feed out is from the bottom of the spool when pulling rope out toward the front. How can I get the mounting platform on the sidecar side (left from back) and still keep the feed out/in from the bottom of the spool. Good stuff Haitch You must be planning some serious offroad adventures Can we get a full instructional video on how to get stuck and unstuck using the winch

Ha Ha. Thanks Keith. Not too sure about getting stuck and then recovery. The whole idea is to NOT get stuck. I know from my 4x4 days that they only get you stuck deeper. If you're not paying attention or deliberately set out to "get stuck". We're too old for that, but not too old for a small geriatric risk.🤣🤣. Will look to a vid but may be beyond our scope.

Found the winch really handy, never set out to get stuck, in here somewhere is my winching. What caught me out was a particular track I had been down and up many times but with out issue but after heavy rain the tracks and creeks changed.
Dam should not be reading, getting withdrawals again.😊

You never need it till you really need it.
