Are these to actually be replaced on each occasion the cover is removed?? I know Ural say to do so. But, does everyone actually do it on the 4 screw covers. Are these called "Dowty washers"?

Yes, they are Dowty…. Every manufacturer says “replace” whatever type of sealing washer they use……reality is that they will often be good for many refits. The secret with any of this type of seal is not to overtighten.
Sump plug washers, valve cover bolt seals etc. are what I keep in the spares bin for that time they do need to be replaced.

If you remove the bolts from the rocker covers the std seals will tear, they seem to stick to rocker cover paint. Dowty washers is what Pirtek calls them, $1.20 ea and what I got are slightly larger bore but same washer OD, no leaks and seals do not tear when bolts are removed.
